E1: 45: Order Level Adjustment Calculating Wrong Amount For New Line (Doc ID 2332833.1)

Last updated on MAY 22, 2018

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Advanced Pricing - Sales - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On 9.1 version,
Tools Version 9.1
-------------------------
Order level adjustment is applied to the total amount of the order and not for the individual order line unit price. But this is not working when the order have 2 different items that belongs to different basket groups. For one of the basket group system using the unit price (without adjustment applied) rather than the calculated price. Issue replicated for the normal and enhanced baskets.

Steps To Replicate
------------------------
1. 2 Different basket group - BASKET & 4ITEM is used
2. Adjustment created for basket (BASKET ) with - 5% of discount and (4ITEM) with -50% of discount
3. Order level adjustment is defined for 5%
4. Attach the basket group for the items used.
5. Create sales order and update the detail line with items containing the 2 different baskets.
6. Take form exit to reprice order
7. Verify the reprice line created shows wrong amount.

Example :
1. 220 item basket adjustment applied for -10% of net price - 500*-10 /100 = 500- 50 = 450
2.1001 item basket adjustment applied for -50 of net price- 105*-50/100 = 105-52.5 = 52.5
3. Item basket adjustment applied for -10% of net price ¿ 10*-10/100 = 10-1 = 9 - > So order level adjustment is applied for the total amount of all the lines = 450 +52.5 +9 = 511.5
So 5% of 511.5 = 25.575 ( instead system calculated wrongly to 28.2 ) where system chose the unit price of one of the order line instead of the adjusted amount 450+ 105 +9 = 564  = 5% of 564 = 28.2
