Workflow Action Message shortcut definition is not saved correctly.
Data entered into the Shortcut parameter in Workflow Action Message task is not saved correctly.
Once the action message task event rule parameters has been populated with all data and you exit out of the event rule design dialog and enter back into it, the parameters has lost the data. The display shows funny characters or blank that defines the Call App and Form name.

If you go back into Define Active Message Form Interconnect, the entire data structure is empty and nothing has been retained.

Workflow validation will failed with error.

Happen to existing workflow too, for existing workflow such as the shipped CREDLIMIT version 1, initial retrieval is fine, once you make changes, shortcut info is gone and you cannot fix it even if you recreate the task.

The problem is not machine specific
The problem is not workflow specific

1. create a simple workflow
2. run workflow modeler and add active message task
3. define ER for the active message task and define the shortcut, click ok
4. re-open the ER for the active message task, the shortcut setting is gone.
5. save and validate will fail with error.
