E1: 1099: 1099 Dividend Box 1b Qualified Dividends Not Populates When Running the GL Build (R04514) (Doc ID 2346807.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The GL Build (R04514) does not create a record for box 1b Qualified Dividends (type return 12) in the 1099 G/L Worktable F045141.  Box 1a (type return 11) on 1099-DIV reports the total amount of ordinary dividends received.  Box 1b reports the portion of box 1a that is considered to be qualified dividends.

Therefore the AAI PX range for PX12 (Qualified Dividends) is a subset of AAI PX11.

Work-around:

Use the Adjust 1099 AP Worktable application (P04510FP) to enter corrections.  This application reads the 1099 A/P workfile (F045143) and allows you to change, add or delete records.

Note: Even if you are solely using the GL Method, this application can be used to enter correction records.
