Symptoms
Fix provided via BUG 22112440 - 'Blank F4801.LNID When Cancelling so Detail Line' clears the fields RKCO, RORN & RCTO within related Work Order (Table F4801), when the associated W Line Type Sales Order is Cancelled. With this the linkage between the Sales Order and the Work Order is lost.
Business following Make to Order to fulfill their demands and not using MRP module to plan their requirements, and with different Users handling Work Orders and Sales Orders, there is no visibility on the Work Order side as the above mentioned fields are cleared and Manufacturing will process the Work Orders even when there is no demand. With this scenario; Items are produced even when there is no demand leading to un-wanted inventory, which is dangerous and expensive.
