E1: ORCH: Clarification on Licensing Policy for Orchestrator (Doc ID 2353585.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 27, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customer needs to know if the Orchestrator licensing for 9.2.1.4 and above applies to earlier tools releases such as 9.2.1.1 or earlier and use the Orchestrator without a licence or  need to upgrade to 9.2.1.4 in order to benefit from it?

The 9.2.1.4 Announcing New JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release, User Experience Enhancements, and Industry Functionality states the following:

Updates to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator Licensing:  The licensing for Orchestrator (formerly called Internet of Things Orchestrator) has also changed. Rather than being licensed as a discrete product, the usage of Orchestrator is now included as part of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Core Tools and Infrastructure. Customers can employ the power of Orchestrator and Orchestrator Studio as with the other integration and interoperability tools included with Core Tools and Infrastructure.”
