E1: 40G: Grower Work Order / Operation Interop Fails When Assigning Equipment From A Different Winery (Doc ID 2356157.1)

Last updated on APRIL 01, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Grower Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The grower operations Interop (Wt. Tag) does not create operations when the equipment being assigned is from a different branch plant than the branch
plant of the work order/operation.

This does work when creating an operation manually through the JDE applications.

The Interop also provides conflicting success status and does not provide error messaging;
- The Work Center says the interop "completed normally" even though it didn't. - The PDF output says it didn't process, and no operation is created.

(see attachments for examples).

It is very common for equipment from one branch plant to be used in an operation at another branch plant. For example, trucks from one winery may
deliver grapes to another winery; the "receiving" winery is the branch plant of the operation, but the trucks come from the winery delivering the fruit.
