E1: 04: R04423B Does Not Refer Discount Due Date (DDNJ) But Net Due Date (DDJ) When Date Type Is Due Date (Doc ID 2358060.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable, the value of the Discount Due Date is stored and displayed in a field for the Net Due Date (DDJ), while the value of the Net Due Date is stored in the field for the Discount Due Date (DDNJ).
This is known behavior and enhancement Bug 10719044 is logged for future release. this issue and may be addressed in a future release. Refer Doc ID 1411304.1 for further information for this.
So system needs to refer DDNJ for net due date to handle this behavior.

However, when running R04423B with date type 'due date', system compares DDJ (not DDNJ) with as of date for aging.
