E1: OMW: Make Hidden GRID Column "Backup Rule" Visible and Read Only on P98230|W98230F (Doc ID 2364465.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customers cannot easily identify when the 'Backup Rule' checkbox has been selected unless they select the Row exit/Backup Rule for one record at a time.

For example:
1. Fastpath to P98230
2. Select Activity Rules
3. Select From and To Project Status (e.g. 21 to 26)
4. To view Backup Rule, select Row Exit/Backup Rule one at a time

Making the (currently hidden) "Backup Rule" column visible on P98230|W98230F (Object Transfer Activity Rules page) helps to easily identify which activity rule has the backup rule selected.

Making the "Backup Rule" column Disable Input (read only) will require customers to read the explanation text prior to having the option to change the value of this field.

Object Management Workbench (OWM) will not perform the typical F9861 validation steps if the 'Backup Rule' checkbox has been selected in Advanced Transfer Activity Rules Settings.
