E1: FDA: Associate Description Displays More Than 30 Characters in Grid When the Associated Business Function is Run on JAS (Doc ID 2368532.1)

Associate Description which is linked to data dictionary (DD) item DL01 of size 30 displays more than 30 characters in grid when the associated business function is set to execute on JAS.

For example, P4915|W4915B form has Ship To Address grid column with an adjacent column to display the description using the Associate Description functionality. This description can display more than 30 characters when IsColumnInAddressBook is set to run on JAS. The Associate description is retrieved using business function IsColumnInAddressBook defined in Edit Rule of the data dictionary item, SHAN in this case.


The LocalLogicCatalog.xml file is used to control where these Business Functions execute. Sample location of this file would be .....webclient.war\WEB-INF\classes. The above explained behavior in P4915 happens when below entry is present for IsColumnInAddressBook in LocalLogicCatalog.xml:
