E1: GRID: Upgraded Grid Formats in the Target Application Release Do Not Match With the Corresponding Formats in Old Release (Doc ID 2378552.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 12, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customer upgraded from E900|8.98.X tools release to E9.2|9.2.X tools release. As a part of the upgrade process, grid formats(GF) have been converted/migrated and they are appearing the in the corresponding UDO tables in 9.2. They do appear in the corresponding forms as well when the required view security is setup for them.

For some grid formats in some applications, GFs upgraded from E900 to E9.2 are not matching - the number of columns as well as the sequence are not matching. In one specific example involving P03B2002, in E900 it shows 14 columns for a specific format but in E9.2 it shows 31 columns for the same GF. Interestingly, E900.F98950 xml and E920.F952440 xml are matching!
