E1: JAS: User Sessions Are Not Terminated Upon Closure of Browser (Doc ID 2386364.1)

Symptoms

After closing a browser (IE, Chrome, or Firefox), the user session is not terminated. It was confirmed the LogoutOnBrowserClose is set to true in the [ERPINTERACTIVITY] stanza of the JAS.ini 

This can be verified from User Sessions page in Server Manager Console for the JDE HTML instance.

Closing only the tab for the JDE URL, while other tabs remain only, will allow the session to be retained if the JDE URL is opened again.
However, if the entire browser is closed, and the JDE URL is opened again after opening a new browser window, multiple sessions will appear for the same user, as seen in the screenshot below :
