E1: CHA: Change Assistant Crashes After Logging Into E1

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Launch the Change Assistant and try to apply any ESU. Provide the user id and password at the E1 login screen. The Change Assistant will crash within couple of seconds with the below error message on the screen.
