E1: 17: SWM WO Description Change Triggers Estimated Quantity To Be Converted To Primary UOM From Different UOM
Last updated on APRIL 27, 2018
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Service Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When having a component item with different Primary (e.g. LB) and Secondary (e.g. GA) UOMs and setting that item on the SV order parts list to use the Secondary UOM rather than Primary UOM, after issuing the material and modifying the field "Description Line 2" (Alias: DSC2) on either P17730 or P90CD015, the system updates the Estimated Quantity field (Alias: UORG) as if the Primary UOM would be used instead of Secondary UOM but it does not update the UM field on the SV order parts list too. The update triggers the Estimated Quantity value going negative.
This only occurs when P3009 is set to perform hard commitments during Parts List creation.
The same issue occurs if creating the SV order through P48201 / P17714 and then doing the updates through P17730.
