E1: 75A: New UBE To Consolidate Employee Tax History

Symptoms

Requesting the ability to consolidate employee tax history records via a UBE. This will allow payroll officers to consolidate tax history records at the end of every month. This will be done as a result of the new STP functionality.

The creation of multiple Tax History records is generated by a change in an employee¿s Home Company record during the current tax year. Without consolidation, the employee will have multiple records reported to tax authorities, rather than a single record.

What is the proposed change? Create a new UBE that will perform the following:

1. Consolidate Tax History and PDBA History into an employee¿s current Home Company, for STP purposes. UBE will be run after the payroll cut-off (11th of each month) before running the pay and prior to STP report being generated.

2. Identify employees that have a history record change in tables, F06136 Tax History, F06166 Tax Detail, F06146 Payroll Month PDBA Summary, F0618 Pay Detail, F0719 PDBA Detail History, with a different Home Company value from the employee¿s current Masterfile value (F060116 / HMCO).

3. Where the history data includes a different home company numbers, values will need to be added to the current Home Company record and removed from the old history record. Please see excel attachment for the example.
