E1: PKG: Update Package Fails When Using PACKMAN (Doc ID 2393660.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 28, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Full packages are building without issue; however, update packages are failing when certain objects are included in the package. In this case, update packages were failing when they contained F4211 and F42119. The following was seen in the buildlog.txt:

It was found that the source files (F4211.c and F42119.c) were not present in the checkin\source directory on the Enterprise Server. The 9.2.1.x package build process should retrieve the par files of objects that are in the database from the F98780R table and extract the contents into the checkin\source, checkin\include, or checkin\res directories depending on the file type.
