E1: 34: Process MRP Action Messages In Date Sort Order (R3483) (Doc ID 2393663.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, MRP R3483

For multiple Supply Orders being deferred or cancelled by MRP R3483, messages need to be sequenced by date sort order and orders being cancelled do not need to be deferred first.  Currently, detail messages do not sequence correctly, as defer messages sequence, not in order number sequence or date sequence sort order.

The R3482 action messages are in date sequence.  First order, in date sequence, is cancelled and later orders get defer messages. R3483 should work in sync with R3482.

Expect that the demand planning will be in date sequence, from current date thru to future date, irrespective of running R3482 or R3483.
