E1: CFR11: Electronic Signature Approval Form Not Allowing Password Of More Than 10 Characters And Electronic Signature Validation Fails (Doc ID 2395717.1)

Last updated on JUNE 22, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Issue: Electronic Signature is only accepting a 10 character, and fails with anything longer than 10 characters.

After turning on LONG USERID, and PASSWORD in LDAP for Enterprise One, users ARE able to login with more than 10 characters, for ID, and password.

BUT, the Electronic Signature approval form password field is NOT allowing passwords of more than 10 characters. In some scenarios, user was able to enter password more than 10 characters but still the Electronic Signature validation was failing.

Error on Screen:(This despite user was able to enter more than 10 characters)
