Changing outside operations purchase order (OO) causes link with original work order to be removed. When an OO order is changed by e.g. adding order lines or accidentally changing the quantity of the OO order using the P4310 instead of the WO router (row exit outside operations), the link with the original WO is removed. When the OO order is received, inventory is booked for the *OP item but not (as expected) automatically issued again causing a zero result. Although the logic is understood to work "as designed", this is causing a lot of potential risks at our production facilities. Would it be possible to generate a hard error when the OO order line created by the WO is changed directly using the P4310 ? In case other info is added to the OO (e.g. new order lines without an original link to the WO) NOT remove the link with the WO ?
