Goal

The purpose is to illustrate the formula used by R461601 (Batch Replenishment) in order to suggest the quantity to replenish in a License Plate environment .

CASE STUDY:

Have 400 UN loose items into the replenishment location having a maximum volume capacity 1210 FC . The Capacity Method for Item is '3' Quantity Checking.
Run R461601 using "Normal Replenishment Point" and "Maximum Replenishment" (to fill the location).
Notice that  Replenishment Quantity suggested is 656 UN ? How is this value calculated ?
Processing option for R461601 (Replen. Ctrl. tab) are set to
- Letdown point to use: set to 1 ( Normal Replenishment Point )
- Method to use for replenishment quantities: set to Blank (Maximum Replenishment) : the quantity to replenish is the quantity which would fill the location.
