After upgrading tools release to, whenever user adds or access an OLE attachment, Internet Explorer will stop working with the following error:


Internet Explorer has stopped working

Windows is checking for a solution to the problem....


The following error is seen in the Event Viewer on the faulting module "JDEWEB~1.OCX" which is the ActiveX control (jdewebctlsU.ocx):


Re-installing the ActiveX control does not help.
