E1: 46L: Change Availability Calculation to not Include Commitments from Pending LPN Movements (Doc ID 2417701.1)

Last updated on MARCH 23, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Warehouse Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a putaway or replenishment suggestion is generated in a LPN environment, the "From" location is hard committed. This causes the available inventory calculations to be off, since the hard committed quantities cannot be seen as available inventory.  Customer would like for the quantities that are suggested for putaway or replenishment to not be considered as hard committed as far as availability calculations are determined. For example, it can cause a sales order to go on backorder even though there is enough quantity available in the plant or warehouse.
