E1: 15: Area Validation Is Not Throwing An Error When Floor Area SQ FT Exceeds Building Area SQ FT ( P15062, P1506) (Doc ID 2420904.1)

Last updated on MARCH 16, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Real Estate Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using Area Validation of Building to Floor and Floor to Building, the system fails to validate the square footage properly.

Here is an example:  Bldg REN = 100,000 SF.  Floor 1 = 45,000 SF.  Floor 2 = 20,000 SF.  Floor 3 = 35,000 SF.  Save and access Floor 2 again – change the SQ Ft to 55,000 and save.  Note – no error for area validation was given.

System also does not throw an error when updating REN on building to be less than the REN sq foot of total of the floors.
