E1: 42W: Transaction Error When Adding A Line To A Fulfillment Sales Order (Doc ID 2423105.1)

Symptoms

Powerforms SO Entry (P42101)

When attempting to add a new line to a sales order that is in fulfillment using Powerforms SO Entry (P42101), the following error occurs.

TRANSACTION ERROR
Transaction cannot be committed, it was canceled

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. User enters a two line Sales Order using Powerforms SO Entry (P42101) which goes to fulfillment.
  2. The Warning Messages appears
  3.   This order is going on the following holds
    •   C1 - Credit Hold
    •   IO - Incomplete Order Hold
  4. The user saves the order
  5. After saving the order, the user checks the Service Level Rule Detail (F4277711) table and there are two records populated for this order
  6. User reopens the previously saved order and enters a third line which tries to apply a mandatory price adjustment which returns the following errors
    •   No price found for mandatory adjustment (008U)
    •   DetermineSOMBFPricing process failed (Error ID 097O)
  7. User clicks on the Cancel Button which removes line 3 from the sales order entry grid. They then click Submit and Close to save the order again.
  8. Same warnings as in step 2 appear. Click on Submit and Close again.
  9. After saving the order, the user checks the Service Level Rule Detail (F4277711) table and there are three records populated for this order eve though one of the lines was canceled before the order was saved.
  10. User reopens the previously saved order and enters a NEW line 3 in the grid that does not error. They then click Submit and Close to save the order again.
  11. Same warnings as in step 2 appear. Click on Submit and Close again.
  12. User comes back to Inquiry screen and clicks find to refresh the inquiry and the following error message appears.
    • TRANSACTION ERROR
    • Transaction cannot be committed, it was canceled
