Symptoms

Change Assistant crashes when trying to apply an update with the 'Skip Spec Merge' option selected (in this case, the update was UN2). The same update was successfully applied to other environments when the 'Skip Spec Merge' option was not selected. The below error was seen in the jde.log on the Deployment Server:
