E1: E1PAGE: "Automatically Find On Entry" Option for Power Forms in Composite Pages (Doc ID 2429028.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When adding E1 Find/Browse Form in a composite page, for example P01012 W01012B, then the dialogue displays the option "Automatically Find on Entry" which is enabled by default. This option can be deactivated to prevent unnecessary searches before the search criteria have been defined by the user.

However when adding power browse forms  such as P43E15 W43E15A then the option "Automatically Find on Entry" is not displayed. The option is however enabled in the XML-Data in F952410.CPOMRBLOB and a Find is performed when the page is loaded as part of the composed page. As a result the page waits until the find has finished loading and performance is affected.
