E1: 43: Need Ability To Calculate Suggested Order Quantity In PO Generator (P43011) Efficiently (Doc ID 2430203.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Need suggested ordered quantity to be calculated in below ways (PO Generator - P43011):

Example 1:
Suppose ROP=2, Availability=-6 and EOQ=10 and order policy code set to '1'

SOQ calculation should be =ROP(2) -Availability(-6) = 8

But Benchmark value EOQ is 10 so actually 10 should be ordered rather 'SOQ=ROP-Available'

Example 2:
Suppose ROP=2, Availability=-9 and EOQ=10 and order policy code set to '1'

SOQ calculation should be =ROP(2) -Availability(-9) = 11

Which is higher than benchmark value EOQ ('10') then it should consider '11' for suggested order quantity.
