Symptoms
When running amortization schedules for leases where the lease dates or recurring billing dates are starting mid-month, the amount prorated for the period is incorrect.
There are three reported issues:
1. There is an unacceptable variance in prorated payment amounts between the lease liability amortization schedule and recurring billing generation.
2. ROUA expenses should be prorated in the same way as payments are prorated in the lease liability schedule.
3. Free Rent months are not calculated correctly based on the current calculations of the lease liability schedule.
