Symptoms

System function "Set Edit Control Font" does not work on web client for form edit controls . The font / color of an edit control field remains unchanged when the system function is called to edit the font or color of an edit control on form headers . 
This system function works successfully  on Windows Fat clients. 

System function "Set Edit Control Color" can be used to set the background color of a form edit control. This system function works on both Web and Fat clients.
