E1: 05: Enhancement Request: Lock Paytype Field After Employee Enters Timecard (Doc ID 2437306.1)

Last updated on APRIL 09, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Employee Self-Service - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When changing a timecard from pay type 1 to a different pay type the timecard is not changing the account number.

This is functioning as designed. You will need to either delete the timecard and recreate the timecard or blank out the fields that need to revalidate. Pay type takes precedence and entering an account number will not derive a pay type.
