E1: SVM: SEC: Site Key is Applied however Server Manager Does Not Register it (Doc ID 2437996.1)

Symptoms

 After adding the Site key to the system setup, and restarting Server Manager Management Console, the console does not store passwords in encrypted format, as it claims site key is not enabled.

Review the embedded Agent logs for the Server Manager Management Console, this requires the embedded agent logging to be enabled.

The Server Manager Home has a few different logs, these should have more information for this issue.

Within C:/jde_home/SCFMC/config/agent.properties add the following lines
log.embedded.instances=true
log.level=ALL

This should produce two log sets after the next Server Manager Management Console restart.

C:/jde_home/SCFMC/log/e1agent_0.log

C:/jde_home/SCFMC/log/home_0.log

 

Within home_0.log, the following is visible:
