E1: 04: Data Dictionary Item OBAP Has Default Value 1110 (Doc ID 2441171.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 08, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The data dictionary item OBAP has a default value of 1110.  There should not be a default value for this data dictionary item.  OBAP is used in with MCUP and AIDP (BU.OBJ.SUB) for a default expense account to be used when entering vouchers.  This is an optional field that is entered by the user in the supplier master screen, so there is no reason why a default value of 1110 would be assigned to this data item.  There was a similar issue in the world software and it was determined that the 1110 value was left in by mistake, so it was removed in the world software.  This setup causes this field to have a value of 1110 in some circumstances which is incorrect.  This default value should be removed.
