Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using minimum tax flag and amount with Tax Parameters and Colombia localizations active, the minimum tax amount is considered by order detail line rather than by order total.

For the tax ‘Retención de la Fuente’ and ‘ICA Municipal’ they need the minimum amounts by order total rather than by order detail line.

a. Article 477 of the tax statute on the taxable basis:

b. In the sale and rendering of services, the taxable base will be the total value of the operation, whether it is made in cash or on credit, including, among others, the direct costs of ordinary, extraordinary or moratorium financing, accessories, transportation, facilities, insurance, commissions, guarantees and other complementary expenses, even if they are invoiced or agreed separately and although, independently considered, they are not subject to taxation. "

c. With the update of the value of the UVT, which was fixed at $ 33,156 by Resolution 000063 of 2017 of the Dian for the year 2018, the minimum amount from which retention is practiced or not at the source by way of income for Purchase concept (in general) was established at $ 895,000. When the payment or credit account equals or exceeds that amount ($ 895,000), it is then necessary to apply the withholding tax on the part of the withholding agent.
