E1: 49: Use Order Date to Base Order Prep Days in Route (Doc ID 2448994.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Release: 9.2
Program: P4980 - Routing Options

In the following scenario, is there a way to use the order date to base the pick date based on the order prep days stored in the route?

On 9/12 a sales order is entered.  The customer service enters manually the Requested Date (9/24) and not the Ship or Delivery Date.  Here are the dates on the order:

Order Date:  9/12
Scheduled Pick Date:  9/14
Promise Ship Date:  9/17
Promise Delivery Date:  9/24.

It is routed automatically using a route that has 3 lead days and 6 transit days.  On 9/17, a load is built for the shipment.  The Promised Delivery Date is 9/24.  The Ship Date is 9/17 but the route that was used on the shipment is not available so the correct carrier cannot be selected because the pick date is in the past.  If the lead days are removed, then the route is available.
