There are no JD Edwards code changes required.

What's New in Vertex 4.2.8?

Washington Paid Family & Medical Leave

Effective January 2019, employers must start withholding for Washington Paid Family & Medical Leave.

Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) is a Washington State program that offers workers the opportunity to receive partial wage replacement while on leave. The PFML premium is calculated based on the employee's gross wages, capped at the Social Security wage limit. The definition of "wages" is the same as Unemployment Insurance wages except it excludes tips.
