E1: RDA: In Print Setup Printer Name Longer Than 32 Characters Is Not Retained After Saving (Doc ID 2450335.1)

Symptoms

In P98616 printer name longer than 32 characters is created. In RDA Print Setup the Printer name longer than 32 characters (selected from Visual Assist) is not saved after click OK.

Steps:

1. Fastpath P98616.
2. Click [Modify Printer]. Click Find. Highlight an existing printer. Click Copy.
3. In Printer Name field type printer name that is more than 32 characters. Click OK.
4. Fastpath BV. Add a version of UBE R0014.
5. Click TAB(Tools). Click [Report Design].
6. Go to File|Print Setup. Click [...].
7. In [Printer Search & Select] popup find and select the printer name defined in Step 5. Click OK.
8. Go to File|Print Setup, note Printer Name is *NONE because selected printer name in Step 7 was not saved.
