In Incident Management, when using P54HS30 Report an Incident, or P54HS00 Incident Master, a notification is sent out.
The notification contains some details of the incident but does not include the Incident Record Type value. This is required when sending to a distribution list to allow the correct person to 'pick up' the incident record types that belongs to him/her.
As it is now, every member of the notified 'incident manager group' has to open each incident to view the incident record type and base on that make a decision to 'take on the incident' or 'let the responsible person for this incident record type' take the incident.
The customer might consider using a query/watchlist that identifies record type and any other incident attributes and creating an orchestration to do the notifications. That way the correct person/distribution group could be handled that way taking into account record type. Hint: you can't build a query on a power form so they would need to use one of the One View apps to do this - such as P54HS220 or P54HS230.
