E1: 34: WO Order Type is Changed by Processing MRP Message with Different Order Type
(Doc ID 2454257.1)
Last updated on APRIL 08, 2019
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When adding a message (F3411) manually, populate a different order type (DCTO ex. WZ) for an existing WO order wrongly.
Then process the message (P3411/R3411). Order type (ex.WO) in the existing work order header (F4801) is replaced to the different order type (WZ) that is in F3411.
On the other hand, order type (DCTO) in the related parts list and routing are still WO.
So the inconsistency between DCTO.F4801 and DCTO.F3111/F3112 occurs.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add a MRP message with message type (MSGT) E manually from P3411.
At this time, populate an existing work order number. However, populate 'WZ' as order type wrongly. The order type of the existing work order is WO.
2. Process the message using exit to row.
