Symptoms

After the Production JAS server instances have been stopped for changing the fully qualified domain name of the machine where the JAS instances are installed, the JAS servers instances cannot be started anymore by using Server Manager or by using the Websphere Administration Server.

Changes

 The fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the machine where Websphere is installed has been changed
