E1: MOBJ: Issues with Embedded Media Object Control in 9.2.2.* Tools Releases (Doc ID 2470047.1)

Symptoms

In 9.2.2.* tools releases if an application has an embedded media object control then the following symptoms could occur.

The SupportActiveXIE setting is set to FALSE and UseEnhancedMediaObjects setting is set to True.

Symptom 1: While trying to edit the text type media object using the Attachments Manager option from embedded media object control on the form, If you close the Text Editor Window using X button on the top right hand corner then the media object control is no longer visible on the form.

    Note: This happens only for the first time of using X button, subsequent times will display the embedded media object control without issues.

Symptom 2: When using a embedded media object control and advanced media object functionality combination, If you access media object text using the grid row paper clip icon to view the content of the text and edit, that will replace the media object with a blank media object in the embedded media object control and also the date updated is not changed.
