E1: DB: "Unable to connect to E1Local" Message After Restoring Database Related Files From Backup On Deployment Server (Doc ID 2481344.1)

Symptoms

"Unable to connect to E1local" error message box appears when attempting to log into deployment server:

Messages similar to the following (i.e., ORA-01033 errors) are present in the jde.log on the deployment server,

Note the ORA-01122/ORA-01110/ORA-01207 pattern. This means that the data file indicated with the ORA-0110 error is out of sync with the control file.

Changes

 Restored some files relating to the Oracle database (E1Local) on the Deployment Server (control file or data file(s)).
