E1:07: Overtime Wage Calculation is Incorrect for Employees with more than 10 OT Hours (Doc ID 2492392.1)

Last updated on MARCH 16, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The gross pay amount for overtime is incorrect for hours over 10. If an employee has overtime (pay type with a 1.5 multiplier)for more than 10 hours, the gross pay amount is calculating incorrectly. The rounding appears to be happening during the calculation, not at the rate level.

For example

Hourly Rate = 5.833

OT Rate = 8.7495

Regular Pay:  176 Hours x 5.833 = 1026.61

OT Pay: 44 Hours x 8.7495 = 384.98, should be 8.750 x 44 = 385.00
