Symptoms

Chile has a new legal modification that effects the former SII N ° 2 from January 12, 2018.  The regulations indicate that there is now a classification of Retaining Taxpayers and Risky Taxpayers.  When a Retainer taxpayer makes a purchase to a Risky Taxpayer, the regulation indicates that the one who makes (Customer) the purchase must issue a purchase invoice indicating that the associated Tax in the mentioned invoice will be 100% withheld.  Since the buyer (Customer) must generate the purchase invoice, JDE does not have the functionality to generate legal documents from the purchasing module.

The legal modification was published by the Chilean tax regulator (Servicio de Impuestos Internos - www.sii.cl)
