E1: GRID: Personalize Form Created For A Specific Version Not Visible When Version Is Blank (Doc ID 2493798.1)

Last updated on MARCH 16, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Many E1 applications can be accessed multiple ways in E1. One method of navigating to the applicaiton, form interconnect for instance, may associate the application with a specific version. Another way, such as Fastpath, may access the application without any version associated. This causes confusion when working with Personal Forms and other UDO types that are version specific.

For example, if P54HS116 is accessed via Fastpath, there is no version associate with form. However if the application is accessed via form interconnect from P54HS00, it inherits the version from the P54HS00 application.

The result of this is when a personal form is created in P54HS116 (or any other applicable application), it will only shows the personal form when accessing the form using the method in which the personal form itself was created.
