Interim Payment issue - Hourly rate is being changed on time entry already posted to GL
Issue found when Adding an Interim payment for an employee who is paid Biweekly and the time entry for the first week of the period has been entered and posted to the GL. Prior to the time entry for the second week being entered the employee’s rate of pay is increased. The time is then entered into Time by Individual for the second week. On the Interim workbench, Add Interim is selected for the ID. The Employee No. is entered and the Load Existing timecards to grid is selected. The calculator is hit to calculate the details. The original 40.00 hours shows with old rate and the 40.00 hours for the second week appears with the new rate. This is all OK. BUT… if you cancel out of the details screen back to the Interim Entry screen and then hit the calculator again. There is now only one pay type entry for 80.00 hours all at the new higher rate.
