Media object file fetch using sftp operation is slow when there are huge number files in the htmlupload folder. Depending on the number files in the htmlupload folder, the slowness will vary. For about 500K files, it was delayed by around 20+ seconds. When using normal ftp, instead of sftp, no such slowness is observed. Also slowness is observed only during file retrieval and not during file upload.
Even though attachment retrieval is successful with slowness, 'Media Object Fetch Image Failed' message is displayed on-screen and below messages are observed in the e1root log:
