Symptoms
The CustomerManager published business service (JP010020), via the various processCustomer/processCustomerV2/processCustomerV3 methods (J0100021), is able to update various customer information values. These methods are currently unable to update the amountCreditLimit value (alias ACL) if the value sent in the XML request is greater than 10 digits. If the value is more than 10 digits, no error or issue is apparent in the XML response, but the existing ACL value on the customer record simply does not update. In contrast, using Customer Master Revisions (P03013) to directly update the ACL value on a customer record allows for values up to 15 digits to be saved.
