E1: SVM: Weblogic 12.1.3.0 Based Server Manager Instances in 'Undetermined' State After Applying Security Patch For CVE-2019-2725 (Doc ID 2519067.1)

Symptoms

After applying the patch to address the vulnerabilities and exploits reported in CVE-2019-2725 on Weblogic server 12.1.3.0 , the Weblogic based instances are showing as 'Undetermined'  and Weblogic server as 'Stopped' in Server Manager Management Console.
Weblogic Administration console shows the JVM instances statuses correctly.

The following errors are found in the e1agent_<X>.log of the associated server manager agent. 

 

In the Server Manager Console Dashboard, the below can be seen for the Weblogic and the managed instances:

 Weblogic 12.1.3.0 has been patched to address the following Common Vulnerabilities and Exploits: CVE-2019-2725.
