E1: 43: PO Generator (P43011) Updated to Provide Processing Option for Requested Date with Lead Time and Workday Calendar P00071/F0007 (Doc ID 2536837.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The requested date in PO Generator (P43011) is calculated based on the average lead time of the item. If this date is calculated as a non-working day in the P00071 (work day calendar), are warning message is displayed, Requested Date Is Not a Work Day (Error 1921).

The requested date should move to the nearest future working day based on the work day calendar setup. For example, if an item is setup with four lead time days and the requested date falls on a Sunday, the customer would like for the requested date to be automatically moved to the following Monday or first available future working day.

The current workaround for this issue is to have the user manually update the requested date in the P43011 to make it a valid working day.
