E1: 74CGI: CGI XML Credit Transfer Incorrectly Leaves Category Purpose <Purp> Blank (R744003) (Doc ID 2539044.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 29, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to create a payment file in the CGI ISO20022 XML format, even though the processing option for Category Purpose of the CGI Credit Transfer (P744003) Processing Options application is populated, the related field/tag in the CGI XML file, <Purp>, is blank. No errors are set on the R744003A PDF nor in the Work Center.

However, the <Purp> field/tag being blank is causing an error when trying to upload the file to the bank's website: "the value has a length of '0'; this underruns the allowed minimum length of '1'..."
