E1: 54R: P54R10 not Validating Line Type when Changed to a Valid Value, not Clearing Error E54R26 (Doc ID 2540489.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add a detail line in a Rental Contract (P54R10), the line type will default from the Item Branch, P41026. If this line type is not set up in the Rental Line Type and Action Association setup (P54R03), the following error occurs:

Error ID : E54R26

If the user then manually changes the line type that is set up in the P54R03, the system does not clear the error. The only way to avoid the error is to change the line type in the Item Branch the value that is set up in the P54R03.
